What We Store in Your Browser

Analytics: Plausible
We use Plausible Analytics for website traffic insights. Plausible is a privacy-friendly, EU-hosted analytics service that:
- Does NOT use cookies of any kind.
- Does not collect personal data or IP addresses.
- Does not track users across websites or sessions.
- Is fully compliant with GDPR, ePrivacy, and PECR without requiring consent.

Why No Cookie Banner?
Under the EU ePrivacy Directive and GDPR, consent banners are required for non-essential cookies (tracking, analytics, advertising). Since ProductShot uses only essential localStorage for functionality you explicitly requested (logging in, theme preference), and Plausible Analytics does not use cookies, no consent banner is legally required.
Third-Party Services
When you make a purchase, you are redirected to Stripe's hosted checkout page. Stripe may set its own cookies on their domain — this is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Managing Browser Storage
You can clear localStorage at any time through your browser settings (typically under "Site data" or "Storage"). Clearing authentication data will log you out.
